It's been about half a year since I've updated this, and so I thought that given the season it was fitting for a change. Unfortunately my art has suffered these past months because I just haven't had time--adjusting to the college lifestyle took a lot more than I thought it would. I'm hoping that I can finish up projects over winter break and update the site; I haven't been as devoted as I should have been.... this is something that I hope sincerely to remedy in the oncoming year!

As for what I've been up to--lately it's been philosophy, poetry writing, editing and continuing the books and short stories that I've been working on the past years. Also, one of my college friends has been teaching me the piano, which I hope will continue to blossom into a meaningful part of my life, along with my art and writing. I learned a lot, this past half year--I really enjoyed my classes, and I made some wonderful friends. I started taking karate lessons and realized that I enjoy it, despite the fact that I'm generally a pacifist. I learned that poetry means a lot more to me than I previously thought. I fell in love for the first time and then had my heart broken. I realized that I'm still figuring out what I believe and decided to pursue that more strenuously. Perhaps it's not an impressive list of accomplishments, but I think that I've grown a lot personally, and hope to continue it.
