The Seer

Rydian is another character from my story project--he holds the title of Seer, which indicates that he's the co-ruler over the country's only school of magic known as the Keep. He shares the title with his sister Mylara, who is his magical partner. The Seer's very much a people person, and is more known for his charming behavior and for smoothing out social issues at the Keep than for taking an active role in daily administration, which he leaves to his sister since she's more responsible. He is a bit vain, which explains both the embroidery along the edge of his tunic as well as the earrings, and wears his hair long because it's the fashion to do among men of high rank. Despite his fairly cavalier attitudes, he is one of the most powerful mages in the country and will use that power when necessary.

His facial expressions are inspired by both Simon Baker and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, though obviously his hair is not.

Done using a range of drawing pencils, with a bit of touchup to get the color as accurate as possible on the computer screen.
